I’m Jakob Herr, a video editor who loves seeing all the hard work on a project come together in the edit. Nothing is cooler than seeing a cut perfectly synced to music for the first time and the only way we get there is through meticulous organization, tracking, and planning. I’m the guy co-workers come to for solutions. I want to work with brands that enjoy taking creative risks and folks that aren’t afraid to fail.

I’ve worked as a video editor/producer for Publicis Groupe, Vox Media, Group Nine Media, and JASH with incredibly talented editors, animators, VFX artists, audio engineers, and actors to create high-performing video content for major brands & clients.

Favorite projects include editing videos for JPMorganChase's The Infatuation, creating CGI Oreo cookies for a cross-brand collaboration with Star Wars; producing a web-series for Grey Goose starring Jamie Foxx; editing movie & series trailers for NowThis & PopSugar’s social platforms; and making sure Norm had enough Red Bulls on set for the Norm MacDonald Show.
